  • A free 15-minute Discovery Call is for us to explore our therapeutic fit. I encourage you to ask questions to see if my approach is in alignment with your goals.

How to schedule a Discovery Call is covered in the previous FAQs How do we get started?

  • The initial visit is 75 minutes where we can continue to explore our therapeutic fit. This means you too!

Feel free to come with any additional questions to see if my approach aligns with your needs and what you are looking for.

The initial visit is considered a psychiatric assessment of your previous mental health history to what currently brings you in seeking support.

Before the visit, you will be prompted to fill out the new patient questionnaire in your online patient Healthie portal.

  • To better support you in your mental health journey, I use an electronic health record called Healthie. You will be prompted to create an account via email when I invite you for a Discovery Call.

Your Healthie portal is where you will find scheduling, billing, appointment reminders, a list of your medications, and goals we’ve set together.

There is also a chat and messaging feature that allows us to communicate in a secure way.

  • Life happens, if you need to cancel you have up to 48hrs before the appointment to cancel or two full business days. For example, a cancellation for a Monday appointment must be made on the prior Thursday. For cancellations outside of the 48hr window, the full charge will be applied to the card on file. Upon the initial intake before your initial consult, one of the forms you will sign will be an agreement to the cancellation policy.

Occasionally, follow-up appointments can be switched to telemedicine to avoid cancellation. However, advanced notice is required. Please contact me within the portal if you need to switch to a telemedicine appointment.

  • The best line of communication is through your Healthie portal and/or app which you will set up during your new patient intake process.

The Healthie portal and app are HIPPA-compliant platforms that allow for us to communicate securely. Please direct all e-mails and text messages through the secure message patient portal, all other forms of email are not secure.

Simple questions (clarification of medication dosing, etc.) will be addressed within your portal. If your concern warrants a visit, I will give you the option of coming in or conducting a visit by phone or video.

  • *** If you are a teacher in the Poudre School District, I am credentialed as covered clinician for you.
